Specifically built for IDPA competitors, the 92X Performance Defensive features the ergonomic features of the popular 92X Performance platform with a lightened steel frame and slide, a red-dot optic ready slide, and aggressively textured 92X-style thin grips.

The new Beretta 92X Performance Defensive has been custom built to take your competition performance to the next level. Specifically designed for those consumers who participate in IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) competitions, the 92X Performance Defensive maintains the same ergonomic design and controls as the popular 92X Performance Production platform with new enhanced features such as a lightened steel frame and slide, a red-dot optic ready slide, and aggressively textured 92X-style thin grips for instinctive control.

Compliant with the 3 most shot IDPA Divisions (SSP, ESP, CO), the 92X Performance Defensive provides an uncompromising performance aimed at earning you a spot at the top of the podium with power, speed, and accuracy.


Lightened Steel Frame and Slide

Decreased weight to meet IDPA regulations with the removal of the traditional Picatinny rail and reductions made on the internal design of the Brigadier slide and 92X steel frame

Red-Dot Optic Ready Slide

Factory standard Red-Dot Cut with five available plate options available for aftermarket purchase

Enhanced Grip Control

Aggressively textured 92X-style thin grips and front and backstrap checkering allows for instinctive control and ensures consistent target acquisition and a comfortable fit for any shooter right out of the box

Saw-Tooth Front and Rear Slide Serrations

Saw-toothed front and rear serrations ensure maximum grip during slide manipulation in all conditions

Skeletonized Hammer

Skeletonized hammer combined with a competition standard hammer spring enables an even faster lock time
